Woke up bright and early Sunday morning to take a stroll to the market.
Crisp air, wet cobblestone, narrow streets, and weathered buildings.
A sticker on the street catches my eye: "WORK LESS."
Sharing how we must LIVE MORE.
Simple essentials: Milk, eggs, cheese, and a baguette at the market.
One of the MANY rows of Vin at the Simply market.
Most French do not eat breakfast, usually only drinking coffee/tea in the the morning.
It's mid-afternoon, and we've only had a baguette and brie all day.
Not a problem with me though ;P
Our friend, Sarah, from Berkeley, California was in Clermont Ferrand, France.
She backpacked SOLO to visit us in Bordeaux for a few days. What a special gift!

The glossy, wet cobblestone is like mirrors underneath our feet

Came home to a warm dinner prepared by our two new French Amis. We spent hours conversing about our excursion in Centre Ville and topics such as: love, feminine pink wine, CHEESE!, Guam, Board Games, Marajuana in Berkeley, + more~
Ended the night sharing a bottle of Rosé and playing Scrabble in French.
What a brain exercise!
(That's Jaemie who won...Touché~)
