I relish the feeling of being ANONYMOUS while traveling to different countries around the world.
It gives a fresh sensation to the soul--spending time as a foreigner, expatriate, and observer.
However, the flavors flipped this weekend as I got to spend time with those who know me the best.
My sisters from California to be exact~

This weekend I met up in London with my two gals Geena and Ana.
They're traveling Europe together this month,
so the next couple weekends I'll be flying from France to meet them in several different cities.

These two are comical to be around.
They're quite the DYNAMIC DUO, always joking, dancing, and exuding their glowing presence.
You can take these girls out of CALI, but you can't take the CALI out of these girls.

Oh, these girls. Always a rush of energy and excitement, buzzing over songs, jokes, rumors, and ideas we are discovering together. I grew up thriving on the commotion of their girl noise, whether they are laughing or singing or blustering about funny business, I always love getting lost in their air.
"It's getting hard to be someone, but it all works out. It doesn't matter much to me."

| LONG LIVE THE BEATLES. |
Bustled our way to Camden Town, London.
Where there lives a myriad of alternative subcultures,
containing a labyrinth of open-air markets, live music, and worldly cuisine.

Camden is a fun, eclectic, & vivid part of London,
perfect for the young & young at heart!

Soaking up the vibrant and diverse atmosphere.

LONDON'S CALLING.
IT'S TEA TIME!
It's been pretty nippy here, so a warm spot of tea really fills our fancy.

I've got to say, even with the rain and hail while being here,
the combination of London's blue sky and luminous clouds is paradise.
Watching the sun set slowly in Hyde Park
as the chilly air turns our noses rosy and our hands numb~

"Bollocks! It's Monkey's outside!"
It's bloody cold out, let's trot to the nearest pub for warmth~
and a few beers.
ONE GUINNESS

TWO GUINNESS

THREE GUINNESS

FLOOR!

I kid, I kid

We watched a bit of futbol & gallivanted with a few English fellows while playing drinking games
and then some~
We were also delighted with an angelic opera performance in Covet Garden late into the night~

Speaking of angelic, I'm overjoyed Geena is here in Europe.
My sister is divine.
A dazzling, comical, temperamental treasure.

Sisterly love is, of all sentiments, the most abstract.
Nature does not grant it any functions.

Nevertheless, it's pretty cool to be different flowers from the same garden.
Blooming in our own ways while sharing the same soil.
And let's not forget Ana. Together they are a gift to my heart, friends to my spirit,
and a golden thread to the meaning of my life.
At the end of their European trip, they'll be staying with me in my home in Bordeaux.
I'm so stoked for them to end their voyage in France and get a taste of the Bordelaise lifestyle
I've been living these past months~

À bientôt, les filles! See you soon in Paris!
