Sweet Dreams in SWITZERLAND~

Switzerland is a small, steep country, much more up and down than sideways,
permanently neutral, and with divine chocolate~
Started our crisp, cool days in the Alps charting our course and sipping gracefully on tea.

Ever close your eyes. Ever stop and listen. Ever feel alive. And you've nothing missing.
You don't need a reason. Let the day go on and on.
Let the rain fall down. Everywhere around you. Give into it now. Let the day surround you.
You don't need a reason. Let the rain go on and on.

Sheltered from the wintry-air,
we fired-up in our super rad apartment to dine, play, and revel.
Spinning a mixture of melodies on vinyl~
As we fool around~
And watch the rain drizzle against the exquisite view of the Swiss Alps~
In the sweetness of friendship, let there be laughter and sharing of pleasures.
Behave with care, so the aroma of your actions can enhance the general sweetness of the atmosphere.
Speaking of sweetness...

Biochemically, love is like eating large amounts of chocolate ;-)
We're in Switzerland! Where chocolate is the perfect food.
"Nine out of ten people like chocolate. The tenth is lying."
There are never too many Swiss Chocolate runs.
At this point, we've gotten used to the laughs in the grocery store.
I spy the Swiss Alps~
Following train tracks, we took a serene, peaceful walk along the Swiss mountain-side.

However, things quickly took a turn for the worst!
WARNING: When you're told not to play by train tracks, abide to that.
DANGER DE MORT= "Danger of Death"
Balancing on the tracks, we all had our heads down taking one step at a time making our way back to real roads. Suddenly, we heard a faint tinkling. Looking up, a high-tech, modern train came blasting towards us just a FEW meters away. With no time to even scream, we threw our bodies off the beam landing scattered on the side of the tracks. INCROYABLE! A SILENT TRAIN
Have you ever heard of such a thing?! There were 6 of us and not one of us heard the heavy-duty train until it was only a few meters away. A SILENT TRAIN. Now, that's incredible innovation!
... (though, at the close expense of our lives).
"What does the fox say?"
.......
Whew! Happy to be alive and quick to brush off our near death experience,
we continued on our way enjoying the blue sky and heavenly clouds.
From the countryside to the city-center, play-time never stops.
Everywhere in Switzerland, Eric and I tested our strength.
Of our mind.
And our body.
Known for being a permanently neutral power, we also payed a visit to the office of the
United Nations in Geneva, the European headquarters of the UN.
Worldwide Peace, Security, & Health.
The flags of all 192 UN member states~

We get it Geneva, you're beautiful!

Among the many pleasures of Switzerland,
one remains the same for me in all countries: My pleasure for cooking.
Cooking a meal is one of the most personal and intimate things you can do for someone. You're literally providing plated nourishment made with your own hands and creativity. As human beings, eating is an essential, common bond that connects all races, nationalities, and backgrounds. There's also something about the primal nature of it that encourages us to relax, let our hair down, and just talk to one another. Everyday in Switz, I got to practice my craft for my mates.
The special thing about home cooked meals are the feelings of abundance it provides, everything you have and need is right in front of you and within arms' reach. There's no worrying about what to order, what the bill is going to be, or if you should have another glass of wine. That feeling of freedom is real, and you see it in the smiles of your friends after the meal begins.
A happy cook is having a kitchen table full of friends, chatting, drinking, and eating!
Ultimately, food is about the bonds we create. And we had a lot of that on this trip~
Of course, we also had a lot of dancing the night away each night.
One of the nights was pretty PsYcHeDeLiC.
Channeling the cosmos and transcending into a trance of unboundedness, all from hypnotic arrangements of synthetic rhythms and complex layered melodies created by high tempo riffs.
Not bad, eh? Pretty sweet brothaaa. Pretty sweet.
Venturing the world can get you wiped.
But all ends well when you have someone to lean on

The basic core of a living spirit is a passion for adventure.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences and endlessly changing horizons.
For me, it's the change of rhythm that keeps me alive.
Keep being a lifelong learner, and soon:
“When you realize how perfect everything is, you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky.”
